From a young age, Zoe was drawn to all things beautiful. In particular, she was mesmerized by the way her mother applied makeup each morning. The delicate strokes of the powder brush, the intense look while applying mascara and the perfect pink lipstick to top it off. At age 4, Zoe realized that makeup application was a true art.

After graduating from High School in Soldotna, Alaska, Zoe moved to Toronto, Canada, where she was enrolled at The Lam School of Advanced Aesthetics. Although the school's primary focus was on skin care, part of the curriculum focused on makeup application and color theory. This is where Zoe excelled and found her true passion. Shortly after graduation from the Lam School, where she received her CEDESCO, massage and nutrition certificates, Zoe enrolled at Award Studio for makeup in Beverly Hills, CA. In 2001, with her makeup schooling complete, Zoe moved to her dream city, Manhattan, NY, to pursue a career as a makeup artist for TV and Film.

Since Zoe's early education focused on skincare, she's dedicated herself to giving her clients a clean, natural glow. She achieves this look by using airbrush foundation, which conceals only the blemished areas, while lightly misting the rest of the face with foundation. Men and women in the TV/film business have been very receptive to this technique, while spending upwards of 12 hours a day in full makeup their skin finally has a chance to breath and they look flawless on camera.

Zoe currently lives on the upper east side in New York city, working as a successful freelance makeup artist. Every summer, she enjoys returning to her native Alaska to work with a non-profit organization that helps women get back into the work force. Her contribution? She teaches these women basic hair and makeup application, in order to give them the extra boost of confidence they'll need. Zoe knows just how far the perfect pink lipstick can take a woman.
